Ticket To Ride, a tabletop game about building railways and connecting cities, is coming to the phone-connected Playstation Playlink later this year.
The game will allow each player to check their hand and plot their moves entirely within the privacy of their own phones. We checked out the tech last year to mixed results, but the developers of Ticket to Ride already have a number of tabletop adaptations under their belt.
Developer Asmodee Digital released Catan VR earlier this year, and have handled the virtual versions of Carcassonne, Pandemic, and other tabletop properties. Their take on Ticket To Ride looks clear and readable, exactly what you’d want in a digital version of a board game.
